Programs & Services
Fiscal sponsorship allows a nonprofit organization which does not have an IRS tax-exempt status 501c3 to become a project under Chalice Oak Foundation's tax-exempt status. This allows the nonprofit organization the ability to raise money from private and public donors which is fully tax-deductible for the donor. We walk with you as your project develops and achieves its own 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status .
This can be extraordinarily helpful to emerging justice ministries and nonprofit organizations. Chalice Oak provides the "back office" support you need to process gifts, grants, and membership fees.
We send you monthly reports, arrange payments and reimbursements for project expenses, and take care of annual charitable gift acknowledgements and tax filings--all for an reasonable administrative fee of 12% of funds raised.
In addition to the administrative support, we offer our fiscal sponsorship program clients coaching in the core aspects of funding, leadership, volunteer management, and organizational development.
Pathways to Justice
Our Learning Community
One of Chalice Oak Foundation's core values is to work together with congregations and other developing nonprofits to create and nurture a learning community. We do this by engaging in dialogue with those organizations that have demonstrated success over time. We want to learn from these leaders, and, in turn, share what we learn with other justice and nonprofit organizations on their developmental journey. Check out our Chalice Oak Learning Community page to get some helpful tips!
